I’ve been watching the Olympic Games on NBC on direct tv in High Definition. I’m delighted to say that my favorite sport to watch would be the Men’s Skiing competition. It’s the pure stamina and the determination of the athletes that surprises me at how difficult this sport really is. The athletes have to keep an eye on on the poles designed to be criss-crossed, their balance must be correct to prevent falling, their speed must be maintained to have the best race time, and they must keep up the strength to finish the race successfully. I can honestly say that I feel very sad when they fall or they miss a pole, you can tell that they have disappointed themselves. Another reason why I enjoy the Men’s Skiing event is because you never know what will happen every time an athlete starts down on the track. This sport is definitely one that I am not about to try and do, this is too difficult and I don’t believe I will have the focus and stamina that these athletes show when competing. Mix a great sport like this one with a great high definition signal, and you’ve got the perfect evening.
